An afternoon study at The West Pier Centre of social, cultural, local and West Pier history, characters and events within Patrick Hamilton’s excellent novel set in 1920s Brighton.
Morning session will be followed by a short seafront tour. After lunch there is an illustrated powerpoint slideshow showing the history of Brighton and its people in the 1920s, as well as life on the seafront and history of the West Pier.
