There are still lots of pier fragments left in the compound under the root end of the pier. Sales will resume through the winter with the first being held on Saturday 3rd December 9.30 – 12.30.

There’s been a great response to the return of Punch & Judy to Brighton seafront. Until 5th June find them at the Fishing Quarter, from 11th June there will be regular weekend shows on the old paddling pool site right by the West Pier.

This exhibiton about Punch & Judy, featuring the West Pier, will open on 15th May at the Fishing Quarter gallery and run for three weeks.  It will be supported by Punch & Judy performances and talks about the West Pier marking a welcome return of this traditional seaside entertainment to Brighton & Hove seafront. For further ... We will be holding a fragments sale at 10am – 11.30am on Sunday 15th May, in the pier compound. This will probably be the last sale for several weeks.

The West Pier market, which operates at weekends, bank holidays and seven days a week May – September, takes on a brand new look from this weekend. Aveda’s Dukes Lane shop has recently been refitted. The company’s policy has always been to use as much recycled material as possible and noticing a pile of salvaged pier timber in the  compound asked if it could be bought for use in the Brighton shop.
