Here’s another photo from the 1960’s archive kindly donated by Roger Davis. It shows the old paddling pool and the arches which are currently being rebuilt.

A huge mural of the pier greets you as you enter Metro Bank’s new Brighton branch in Churchill Square. Delighted that the bank recognises the pier’s iconic status in the city.
